L’adversaire du farouche Cimmérien s’élança dans une charge irrésistible, faisant tournoyer sa puissante massue en os. Conan roula sur sa droite, évitant adroitement l’attaque et entailla le ventre de la brute. Sa lance pénétra profondément dans la chair meurtrie. L’attaque avait porté et pourtant la bête ne vacilla pas. “Par Crom!” s’écria le barbare, “Quel blasphème de la nature est-ce là?” Conan réalisa soudainement que l’individu qui lui faisait face n’était ni vivant, ni mort. Une horreur impie née de quelque sombre nécromancie. L’aberration chargea de nouveau, maniant sa gigantesque massue comme un marteau de forgeron et cherchant à enfoncer le Cimmérien dans le sol comme s’il était un vulgaire clou. Conan para les coups répétés avec sa lance, dont la hampe finit par se briser. Tournoyant sur lui-même, il repéra la hache de bataille d’un camarade tombé plus tôt et gisant non loin. Il bondit, mais la brute fut plus rapide encore. Elle l’attira au sol et une lutte acharnée s’ensuivit. Alors que le Cimmérien bataillait férocement afin de s’extirper de l’emprise de la créature, il fut soudain terrassé par le souffle mortifère que le monstre lui exhala en plein visage. Pris d’une violente convulsion, Conan s’effondra et lentement, tout devint noir... His adversary rushed forward in an irresistible charge, swinging its mighty bone club in a massive arc. Conan rolled to the right, deftly evading its attack, and slashed at the brute's belly as it passed, cutting deep into the exposed, rotting flesh and bone. The damage was done…and yet the beast did not falter. “By Crom,” Conan spat, “What blasphemy of nature is this?” A moment and comprehension struck like a bolt of lightning. The being he faced was a necromantic horror, one of the undead. It could not die. The aberration charged once more striking downward with its great club again and again, seeking to drive him, like an iron nail, into the blood-soaked ground. Conan parried the blows with his spear but finally, with a loud crack, the haft broke in twain. Whirling about, Conan spied a dead comrade’s double-bladed axe lying nearby. He ran, the miscreation following closely behind. Before he could reach the axe, the brute was upon him, dragging him to the ground. Conan rolled, attempting to extricate himself from the creature’s grasp. Their limbs and bodies intertwined, writhing, as each warrior tried to gain the advantage. In the tumult their faces met. The undead breathed into Conan’s face, the foul stench of its noxious breath filling his nostrils and lungs as, convulsively, he inhaled. Conan barked a violent cough. Shah Amurath conquérant des Kozaks, seigneur d'Akif a rattrapé Olivia. En fuite, cette princesse déchue d'Ophir fut vendue à un chef Shemite, puis donnée à Shah Amurath comme présent. Tyrannisée, et malgré sa nature craintive, elle avait réussi à s'échapper pendant la célébration de la dernière victoire. Conan et ses compagnons de fortunes, épuisés par les récents combats contre les troupes de Shah Amurath, aperçoivent le chef ennemi... et leur sang ne fait qu'un tour! Ils veulent se venger du commandant impitoyable qui a massacré sans merci leurs camarades. Mais attention, sur leurs talons, l’avant-garde recherche son seigneur. L'objectif des héros est donc de tuer le seigneur Amurath, puis de fuir en embarquant sur un radeau laissé derrière (B), avant d’être débordé par le gros de la troupe qui arrivera à la n du tour 8. L'Overlord doit déplacer Shah Amurath et Olivia jusqu’à leur monture, en quittant le plateau par le point de renfort (A) avant la fin du tour 6 , pour ne pas compromettre sa dignité. Only Conan’s swift actions with his friends saved her even as the mighty snake’s coils of the lord’s beast itself tried to crush Conan and transfix her soul from her mind. But still, after the rescue and back home, her lithe body twisted and spasmed under the thin silken covers of her bed. She was burning up inside and had not returned to consciousness. Mitra’s priests were there to aid the governor’s daughter and promised salvation was at hand. It was coming in the form of a mighty Sceptre, in a caravan from the far south. For two bags of gold, a group of heroes rode south to speed up the delivery of the curative item. They came upon the remnants of the caravan three days later. A single surviving caravan guard nearly dead by madness confirmed that the Sceptre had indeed been hidden in the caravan, secreted in to three crates. But then they came, the horrid and unspeakable monsters from the swap. With wide red-rimmed eyes the dying guard pointed to the western jungle trees... This follows on from the official scenario "In the cluches of the Pics" ... and allows the heroes to choose any characters they want.

With this ring he has been able to summon a demon of the night, but has not yet been able to tame the demon and substantiate it’s physical form. To do so he has to sacrifice the soul of a powerful warrior. So in disguise Nahtok poisoned the wine of Conan and took the drugged Cimmerian on to a ship called the Storm’s Wake to smuggle him out of town, and to perform the ceremony of binding the demon without interruption. It did not take Amboola and Balthus long to find out what happened to Conan. Amboola and Batlhus knew of a ship willing to chase down the Storm’s Wake at all costs. Belit, captain of that ship had her own reasons to free Conan – simple lust, with maybe a bit of respect thrown in. With Belit’s crew of five guards, Balthus’ hired Kothien archer and Amboola’s contingent of five city guard, they give chase. The white speck on the horizon soon grows to a sail, and then the Storm’s Wake. Seeing they will shortly be overtaken, Constantius, the evil mercenary and cunning captain of the Storm’s Wake, steers towards shore, where his lighter vessel can escape over the coral reef’s shallow depths from Belit’s faster, but heavier pirate ship. Because Conan never really dies... If Conan ever falls in battle, play this scenario to get him back...

Ayant perdu son ascendant sur Yasmela, sœur du roi et régente pendant l’absence de son frère, le seigneur Alvric, l’un des plus éminents contestataires, a secrètement recruté une compagnie de ruffians et de mercenaires afin de semer la sédition et provoquer une guerre avec le Royaume d’Ophir. Khossus, soupçonnant fortement Alvric d’être l’instigateur des troubles, est conscient qu’il ne peut intervenir directement contre lui sans preuve. Les barons se soulèveraient alors immédiatement en sa faveur.
